Application

  1. Open the pack and remove the tape without touching the sticky surface. Avoid handling the adhesive edge with your fingers.
  2. Measure and cut the tape to the required length, rounding the corners if desired to reduce edge lifting.
  3. Apply the gauze to wound (this is included in pack). Do not place adhesive directly on an open wound.
  4. Position the tape over the wound or area—do not stretch the skin or the tape when applying.
  5. Press the tape onto the skin and rub firmly with the palm of your hand for 20–30 seconds. The adhesive is heat-activated, so rubbing it on well ensures a secure bond.
  6. Smooth out any wrinkles or air pockets by pressing from the center outward.

Aftercare & Removal

  1. Check the tape daily to ensure it’s secure and the skin underneath looks healthy.
  2. If the tape becomes soiled or loose, replace it.
  3. To remove, gently peel back an edge and pull slowly at a low angle; use an adhesive remover if needed to reduce discomfort.

Safety & Tips

  • Do not touch the adhesive with your fingers — oils from skin will reduce stickiness.
  • Shaving the area provides the best results for adhesion and reduces irritation.
  • Do not apply over infected wounds without veterinary advice. Seek veterinary care for deep, heavily bleeding, or seriously infected wounds.
  • Store tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
